Our client are a Family Run small Main Contractor who have been in business for over – 35 years.
Based in Uxbridge, they under take projects from minor works up to £750K via JCT, D & B and NEC Forms of Contract.
Geographical areas can range from Middlesex. Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey & London, with a small amount in the Southern Home Counties.
Project all for Public Sector, within Healthcare, Hotels, Commercial, Laboratories, Education, Leisure / Gyms, mainly live environment working.
The business employ some in house trades for Carpentry and Decoration & brickwork. Mechanical & Electrical packages and other specialist contractors are packaged out.
They are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager, ideally from a trade background who has experience in Facilities Management, understanding the sensitivity of working in live environments. Initially to work in a clean room environment on an ongoing basis.
Must hold a current First Aid at Work and ideally have CSCS or SMSTS. Responsible for inducting trades, checking RAMS, liaising with the client and advising them on work interfaces, order materials and manage the work to a high standard in a safe manner. Reporting into a visiting Project Manager.
Remuneration will be on a day rate to include travel.
