Our client are an established main contractor based in the Northern Home Counties. Trading successfully for in excess of 30 years with an annual Turn Over around the £200M mark, they operate across a number of key sectors to include Residential, Student Accommodation, Commercial & Leisure.
They are looking to recruit a Project Manager to oversee a £42+M Cut & Carve D & B project. The project is based South West London. Scope of work will include stripping back an existing 10 storey Commercial Building, right back to the RC Frame, extending up 2 floors, some internal structural changes, new envelope and roof through to fit out, converting into residential.
Previous experience running cut & carve projects is essential.
Responsible for chairing the Design Team Meetings, producing the contract programme and updating via ASTA, working closely with the commercial team on procurement of sub-contractors. Managing a team that will initially include a couple of Site Managers and Site Engineer. Reporting into a visiting Senior Contracts Manager.
The client is looking for someone to control programme, quality and cost, liaising with client and consultants, deal with local authority, considerate Constructors etc.
