Senior Quantity Surveyor
My client who is a
large Main Contractor, are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a
freelance basis to work on a large new build distribution centre based near
Leicestershire.
The successful
candidate will be working closely with the Commercial lead on a large new build
Distribution type building. You will be supported by junior surveyor / s who
will assist with sending out tender enquires and some of the leg work. You will be responsible for identifying and
recommending packages, letting and administering the contracts, managing
valuations down the chain, variations and change management.
Requirements:
·
Experience
commercially running a project circa £30m+ OR worked on large projects
as a package surveyor
·
Experience
with large groundwork packages (re-measurable) or M&E packages
·
Experience
on large new build Industrial / Leisure / pharmaceutical (Steel frame)
·
Will
have to have strong skills on change management
·
Valid
CSCS (Professionally Qualified) white card
Start date: End of March 2021 and the project will run for
approximately 3 years.
Day rate: Negotiable depending on experience
