Technical
Services Manager
Fantastic opportunity for technical services managers who
are mechanically biased looking to join an exciting commercial interior fit-out
specialist. They excel in redefining the workplace to create inspiring
and productive environments. Whether it be corporate office, list X building or
data centres.
My client is seeking a self-motivated, personable and
diligent individual with a "can do” attitude, to work independently and as part
of the team.
The successful candidate would need to be able to
demonstrate previous experience in the role, ideally working within the interior
Fit Out and laboratory sector who has a strong mechanical background that can
be involved in the pre-construction of projects. Candidates with experience
working with main contractors in a similar role will be considered. The role
will be based in their office in Reading, Berkshire.
The role will consist of assisting with tenders and working
closely with the sub-contractors onsite to problem solve and find solutions to
issues to help with the smooth running of the project whilst helping value
engineer projects with technical input. The projects, the successful candidate
will be working on will value between £200k-£2m.
Requirements:
· Experience in the mechanical/ plumbing trade or
Mechanical engineering degree
· IT Literate
· Experience working in commercial fit out and
hospital or laboratory would be desirable but not essential
Start date: April 2021
Salary & Package: £70-80k (depending on experience)
plus travel expenses.
